Balrampur to Gain New Momentum: Jharkhandi Railway Overbridge Project Reviewed

A significant step towards the construction of the Jharkhandi Railway Overbridge (ROB), a vital project for the development of Balrampur district, has been taken. On Friday, a detailed review meeting was convened at the Adarsh Nagar Palika Parishad office.

During the meeting, Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhiru met with Rohit Agarwal, Executive Engineer of Setu Nigam Ayodhya, Senior Engineer Chandra Prakash, and Assistant Engineer Alok Shukla. The primary objective was to thoroughly deliberate on the project's early launch and the outline for its construction work.

The meeting extensively discussed the successful implementation of the project. Chairman Dhiru assured that the Adarsh Nagar Palika Parishad would provide all possible cooperation for the smooth execution of this long-awaited initiative. In this important juncture, the concerned officials proposed August 7, 2026, as a potential date for the land-purification ceremony (Bhoomi Poojan) and extended invitations for the event.

The Jharkhandi Railway Overbridge project is regarded as an extremely important and ambitious undertaking for Balrampur district. Its primary aim is to make commuting safer, smoother, and more convenient for residents in the area.

This project holds the potential to offer a permanent solution to the long-standing traffic congestion issues, which is expected to provide new direction and momentum to the district's overall development. Executive Officer Lal Chandra Maurya, Media In-charge DP Singh, and several other officials and employees of the Nagar Palika Parishad were also present at the review meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman Dhiru emphasized that this project will mark the beginning of a new golden chapter in Balrampur's development. He stated, “This project will usher in a new golden chapter in Balrampur's development.”

Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhiru reiterated his continuous commitment to public interest, public convenience, and the creation of a prosperous Balrampur on this occasion.

He added, “The Nagar Palika Parishad’s resolve will continue in the same manner, and efforts will be made to realize new initiatives for the district's development.” The Jharkhandi ROB project will not only help in overcoming traffic barriers but will also significantly contribute to the region's economic and social progress.
