In compliance with strict directives from the District Magistrate, the Balrampur Municipal Council conducted a special anti-encroachment campaign on Saturday. This operation focused on removing illegal occupations from public pathways and resulted in the collection of a total of ₹10,500 in fines from twenty-one shopkeepers who violated regulations.

During the inspection, authorities issued stern warnings to shopkeepers, instructing them to keep their merchandise strictly within designated limits to avoid obstructing public movement. Immediate punitive action was taken against a total of twenty-one shopkeepers found in violation of these rules.

A cumulative fine of ₹10,500 was levied upon these shopkeepers, a direct consequence of their non-compliance with established regulations. This enforcement action underscores the administration's commitment to maintaining order and accessibility in public areas.
