Balrampur Honors 30 Outstanding Teachers in 'Guru Vandan' Ceremony

'Guru Vandan' Ceremony Celebrates Educators
The district unit of the National Educational Federation organized a grand 'Guru Vandan' event at the auditorium of MLK PG College in Balrampur district. This prestigious ceremony recognized 30 outstanding teachers selected from various development blocks for their commendable educational and institutional work.
These accomplished teachers were felicitated with shawls and informative books. The event was presided over by the Principal of MLK PG College, Prof. Dr. JP Pandey, with the Chief Guest being Daddan Mishra, Chairman of the Zila Panchayat of Shravasti and former Member of Parliament.
Role of Teachers in Nation Building Emphasized
The Chief Speaker, Mahendra Kumar, Senior Vice President of the All India National Educational Federation, highlighted that the role of teachers extends beyond subject knowledge, identifying them as crucial pillars in nation-building. He stressed the importance of imparting superior values to students and making them aware of social responsibilities in the evolving social landscape.
Speaking on the occasion, the District President of the National Educational Federation, Vikas Kant Pandey, emphasized the organization's strength, stating that teachers consistently lead in struggles and problem-solving. He illuminated the teachers' contributions and the promotion of moral values.
Distinguished Guests and Organizers
Several dignitaries attended as special guests, including Finance and Accounts Officer Vivek Kumar Pandey, Neelmani Shukla, Dr. Ramanand Tripathi, and Anand Mohan Mishra. The program was successfully conducted by Prof. Prakash Mishra.
A large number of teachers and officials were present, including Ankur Pratap Singh, Radha Mohan Pandey, Manmohan Singh, Sanjay Tripathi, Ravi Jyoti Mishra, Devendra Tripathi, Abhyuday Singh, and Media In-charge Agnishhekhar Mishra. The primary objective of this event was to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of teachers and foster moral values in the education sector.
All speakers unanimously underscored the paramount role of a guru in nation-building.
