Health Services Under Review at Harhata
The District Magistrate of Balrampur, Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain, conducted an inspection of the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Harhata, located in the Tulshipur development block of Balrampur district. During the visit on September 21, 2026, he thoroughly reviewed the availability of medicines, the immunization program, and the functioning of the Outpatient Department (OPD).
His primary objective was to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to the general public at the local level. The District Magistrate instructed the present health officials to increase the number of OPD sessions to ensure more people benefit from health services. He also emphasized the importance of timely provision of prescribed medicines to patients, ensuring no one is deprived of essential medical care.
Vaccination Campaign to Gain Momentum
During a review meeting of the immunization program, Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain stressed the critical need for regular updates to the vaccination due list. He particularly emphasized that no eligible child or pregnant woman should miss out on scheduled vaccinations.
Health workers were directed to actively conduct field visits and educate beneficiaries about the importance of vaccination. The goal is to significantly boost the immunization campaign's reach and effectiveness.
Government Services to be More Accessible at Gram Panchayat Secretariat
In the next phase of his tour, the District Magistrate visited the Gram Panchayat Secretariat Harhata. He reviewed the status of various government and online services being provided to the villagers. Officials were instructed to ensure that villagers receive the benefits of government schemes simply and in a timely manner, preventing them from making unnecessary trips to other offices for minor administrative tasks.
The District Magistrate also reviewed the family register and directed that records be maintained systematically. He highlighted the Gram Panchayat Secretariat as a crucial center for the implementation of schemes at the rural level, and therefore, complete transparency must be ensured here. Concerned departmental officials and staff were present during this visit.
