Stern Warning Issued on Grievance Redressal
Bareilly | The Cliff News | September 19, 2026 In a strong directive during the Sampoorn Samadhan Diwas held in Meerganj tehsil, Bareilly on Saturday, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Divya Ojha issued a stern warning to concerned officials regarding negligence in the redressal of public grievances.
She clearly instructed that all public issues must be resolved on a priority basis, ensuring timely and quality solutions. ADM Ojha stated that mere paperwork would not be accepted; complainant satisfaction would be a mandatory condition for resolution.
Divya Ojha emphasized that any form of fake or erroneous resolution would not be permitted, and responsible officials would be held personally accountable for such cases. She laid particular stress on the prompt settlement of pending matters so that the general public does not have to make repeated visits to government offices for problem resolution.
Focus on Swift Resolution of Public Issues
The primary objective of the Samadhan Diwas is to ensure swift and effective resolution of public complaints on the spot. During this public hearing program, emphasis was placed on the rapid resolution of public issues.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nidhi Shukla, Tehsildar Ashish Kumar, Circle Officer Ajay Kumar, and Naib Tehsildar Simran, along with officials from various departments, were also present.
The Additional District Magistrate expected all officials to take the problems of the common people with extreme seriousness and provide solutions in line with the government's intentions. She directed that any form of laxity would not be tolerated and strict punitive action could be taken against such officials.
Officials present in the meeting assured to comply with the Additional District Magistrate's directives verbatim and to resolve all pending complaints in the tehsil within the stipulated time frame. This strictness from the administrative level is expected to accelerate the process of redressing public grievances in the tehsil.
