Assistive Devices Distributed Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

Balrampur, September 17, 2026 – In a special event organized under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' at the Childhood Day Care Center in Balrampur, forty specially-abled children were provided with free assistive devices. The distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of District Panchayat President, Ms. Aarti Tiwari, as the chief guest.

The purpose of these devices is to alleviate the daily challenges faced by these children and to support them in their journey towards self-reliance. The distributed items included twenty-five hearing machines, ten MR (Mental Retardation) kits, and five smart canes. These tools are designed to significantly improve the quality of life for the beneficiaries.

Enhancing Communication, Skills, and Mobility

The hearing machines will be instrumental in improving communication for children with hearing impairments. The MR kits are crucial for the skill development and training of children with special needs, while the smart canes will ensure safe mobility for visually impaired children.

District Panchayat President Aarti Tiwari stated that integrating specially-abled children into the mainstream of society should be a collective priority. She urged parents to consistently focus on their children's education and training. Ms. Tiwari emphasized that these assistive devices provide a renewed sense of confidence, empowering children to face life's challenges more effectively.
