Mahoba Health Fair Provides Comprehensive Medical Services

Mahoba | September 20, 2026 - The Chief Minister's Health Fair was organized on Sunday at the Ajnar, Khama, and Akouna health sub-centers in Mahoba district. A total of 153 patients received health check-ups, free medicines, and essential medical consultations at these health camps. A significant number of patients suffering from seasonal illnesses were observed during the fair.

Healthcare Teams Deliver Services Across Sub-Centers

At the Ajnar Arogya Hospital, a team led by Dr. Ramkumar, including ANM Aneetu, Staff Nurse Bhagwati, Shailendra Dwivedi, and Arun, examined 54 patients. Lab Technician Shailendra Dwivedi also conducted various tests for five patients.

The Khama health sub-center saw a team comprising Dr. Pawan Rajput, Dr. Prem Narayan Sharma, Dr. J.P. Pastore, Dr. Shailendra Singh, and Staff Nurse Kiran provide health services to 49 patients.

Chief Medical Officer Inspects Khama Center

Dr. Binay Kumar, the Chief Medical Officer of Mahoba, conducted an unannounced inspection of the Khama health sub-center. He issued strict instructions to the attending physicians to ensure better treatment for patients.

Meanwhile, at the Akouna health sub-center, 50 patients were examined, and they were provided with necessary treatment.

Expert Advice on Seasonal Illness Prevention

Doctors advised local residents to be vigilant about the changing weather. They emphasized the importance of maintaining hygiene, drinking boiled or clean water, and consuming a balanced diet.

According to experts, timely check-ups and treatment are crucial for preventing seasonal illnesses. The number of patients with allergies was particularly notable at the fair, and they were sent home after receiving appropriate medical advice.

This initiative by the administration is considered a significant step towards making healthcare services more accessible in rural areas.
