The Cliff News | 2 November 2026

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, in international markets. The brand officially confirmed the global debut through its X account, with the launch event scheduled for sometime in November 2026.

An image shared on the official Xiaomi X account provided a tantalizing glimpse of the devices, showcasing their rear design, including a secondary rear display and the Leica camera setup. The accompanying text, "See you this November," leaves little doubt about the impending release.

Global Rollout and Indian Confirmation

While specific countries were not detailed, the global launch is expected to encompass key markets across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Significantly, the Xiaomi 18 Pro India launch has already been confirmed, suggesting it will follow closely after the international debut.

Potential Hardware Adjustments for International Variants

Although the core experience is anticipated to remain consistent, a leaked Italian retail listing, reported by AndroidTreasure, suggests potential hardware modifications for international variants to meet local regulations. Notably, the Xiaomi 18 Pro international model is rumored to feature a 6,000mAh battery with 90W charging. This marks a reduction from the 7,000mAh battery and 100W charging speeds available in China.

The higher-end Xiaomi 18 Pro Max might also see a decrease in battery capacity, potentially dropping from 8,500mAh to 7,050mAh. However, it is expected to retain its rapid 100W fast-charging capabilities.

Core Specifications and Camera Prowess

Despite these potential battery adjustments, the fundamental specifications are expected to remain largely unchanged. Both models will reportedly feature an LTPO OLED display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Powering these devices will be the formidable Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. A unique secondary 120Hz rear AMOLED display is also a confirmed feature.

The camera systems are poised to be a major highlight, boasting a powerful array: a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP Periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. This setup promises exceptional photographic capabilities.

Anticipated European Pricing

The leaked retail listing also provided insight into the likely pricing in Europe. The base 12GB + 256GB configuration of the Xiaomi 18 Pro is reportedly set to start at 1,398 Euros, approximately Rs 1,47,000. For the larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, the 12GB + 512GB variant is expected to retail for around 1,783 Euros, translating to approximately Rs 1,89,000.

With Xiaomi now actively teasing the global launch, an official announcement detailing the exact launch date and further specifications is anticipated imminently.
