Violent Attack Post-Compromise: Four Injured, Including Pregnant Woman, Rammed by Tractor
A family was brutally attacked with a tractor and vehicle after a police-mediated compromise, leaving four injured, including a nine-month pregnant woman.

Law and Order Questioned in Guna After Brutal Attack
Serious questions have been raised regarding law and order in the Umri police outpost area of Guna district. Shortly after the police mediated a compromise in a minor dispute, a family returning home was systematically attacked with a Bolero and a tractor. In this heinous incident, four people, including a nine-month pregnant woman, were severely injured and immediately admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred when the victims, Santosh alias Bunty Shikari, his aunt Amri Bai, driver Praduman Shikari, and pregnant Pooja Shikari, were returning from the Umri police outpost after the compromise. Local sources indicate that the police had resolved a dispute between the two parties, after which the victim's family was allowed to depart for home.
Ambush Attack on Returning Family
It is alleged that the compromise reached at the police outpost was merely a formality, and the attackers were already intending to target the victim's family. As the family's car approached the village of Palpur, attackers lying in wait blocked their path with a Bolero vehicle. Subsequently, a tractor approaching from behind rammed the car with significant force, causing severe damage to the vehicle.
Four Injured in Violent Confrontation, Plea for Security
Following the collision, the attackers exited their vehicles and brutally assaulted the victims. In this bloody conflict, four individuals sustained serious injuries. Eyewitnesses Deepak Shikari and Mamta Bai have confirmed the entire incident. The victim's family has submitted an application to the Superintendent of Police, demanding the immediate registration of an FIR against the accused under serious charges such as attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy, and rioting. The family has also appealed for the protection of their lives and property.
The police are taking swift action given the seriousness of the matter, and a search for the accused is underway.
