TulsiPur Faces Power Crisis: Trade Association Submits Four-Point Memorandum

Power Supply Collapse in TulsiPur Amidst Severe Heat

In the sweltering heat of TulsiPur town in Balrampur, the electricity supply system has completely collapsed. Unannounced power cuts, low voltage issues, and frequent faults are severely disrupting the daily lives of common citizens, traders, and students.

Trade Association Demands Action

To address these critical problems, the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal (Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Representatives Association) has submitted a four-point memorandum to the District Magistrate, handed over to Tehsildar Rakesh Kumar Rajput. During the submission, District General Secretary Dilip Kumar Gupta highlighted the long-standing issue of departmental officials not residing at their posted locations.

He stated that low voltage, prolonged power outages in the name of fault repair, unnecessary delays in repair work by linemen, and a lack of accurate information from the sub-station phone have become commonplace. These issues are causing significant hardship to the town's residents.

Key Demands for Power Supply Improvement

Trade Association General Secretary Rup Chand Gupta stated that the long-pending demand for connecting the 132 KV electricity sub-station at the Sugar Factory to the New Market electricity sub-station via a 33 KV line for comprehensive improvement of power supply in TulsiPur town remains unresolved.

He emphasized that the swift completion of this project would bring unprecedented improvement to the electricity supply system of the entire TulsiPur town and approximately 450 surrounding villages. This would not only resolve the low voltage problem but also provide relief from the frequent power cuts that are currently a major source of trouble for citizens.

Prominent Figures Present

The memorandum was submitted in the presence of many office bearers of the Trade Association, including Bar Association President Kamal Nayan Tiwari, Vice Presidents Mahesh Goyal, Rizwan Bablu, Sardar Bablu Singh, Radheshyam Chaurasia, Sardar Vicky Singh, Om Prakash, Uday Prakash, and Media In-charge Jay Singh. They expressed concern over the dismal state of power supply and sought prompt action.
