Daylight Burglary in Guna District

A sensational burglary occurred in broad daylight in the village of Bhaura, falling under the Aaron police station jurisdiction in Guna district. The incident took place on August 6, 2026, when unknown thieves targeted a house while the couple residing there were out for market shopping.

Valuables Stolen

The thieves broke the main door lock to gain entry into the house. Upon searching the premises, they stole a gold ring, silver coins, and approximately Rs 50,000 in cash from an almirah. The stolen items were kept inside a wardrobe in the room.

Police Investigation Underway

Makhan Singh Rajak, a 40-year-old resident of Bhaura village, along with his wife Rekhabai, had gone to Aaron for shopping around 12:40 PM on Thursday. They returned home at approximately 5 PM to discover their main door lock had been broken. After noticing the disarray in the almirah and realizing their valuables were missing, they initially tried to find the thieves locally but without success.

Following the discovery, Makhan Singh Rajak filed a detailed report at the Aaron police station. The police have registered a case against unknown thieves under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and have commenced an investigation to apprehend the culprits. The incident has raised concerns about security in Bhaura village, with villagers experiencing fear due to the daylight robbery.
