Thana Samadhan Diwas Held in Shamsabad

A Thana Samadhan Diwas was organized at the Shamsabad police station in the Farrukhabad district on August 8, 2026. The event was jointly presided over by District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar and Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh. A large number of complainants presented their issues, which were listened to with seriousness by the officials.

Officials Instructed to Ensure Quality Resolution

The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police directed the concerned officials to ensure a qualitative and time-bound resolution of the received complaints. Dr. Ankur Lathar emphasized that the primary objective of Thana Samadhan Diwas is to provide effective solutions to public problems on the spot, ensuring prompt justice.

Emphasis on Police Proactiveness and Revenue Coordination

Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh instructed police officers to give top priority to complaints received during Thana Samadhan Diwas. She stated that effective action should be taken by maintaining continuous coordination with the complainant. For land disputes and other sensitive matters, police officers were directed to resolve issues jointly with revenue department officials by visiting the site.

“The district administration's paramount priority is to provide simple, transparent, and swift justice to ordinary citizens in accordance with the government's intent,” stated the District Magistrate.

Seven Complaints Received, Two Resolved Immediately

A total of seven complaints were received during the Thana Samadhan Diwas, with five related to the revenue department and two to the police department. Two of these complaints were resolved immediately on the spot. The remaining five complaints were forwarded to the concerned officials with necessary directives for resolution by the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police.

Officials also assured the complainants of the speedy resolution of their problems. Concerned revenue and police department officials/employees and complainants were present during the event.
