Guna Municipality Hosts Special Housing Fair

The Guna Municipal Council today organized a special housing fair with the aim of boosting the sale of 2BHK LIG buildings located in Jagannathpur under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Led by the Chief Municipal Officer, Shailesh Awasthi, the camp provided citizens with detailed information regarding the purchase of these residential units.

This initiative is a significant step towards selling the remaining vacant houses in the Jagannathpur area, which offer a better living environment while adhering to government formalities. The special camp was organized to attract prospective buyers looking to own a home at affordable prices.

Affordable Housing at Previous Rates

According to information provided by the municipality, these housing units in Jagannathpur have been constructed in accordance with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana guidelines, and all necessary amenities are available to the residents.

The housing fair detailed the flats available on different floors and their prices to potential buyers, along with information on the registration process. Chief Municipal Officer Shailesh Awasthi stated that 2BHK flats are currently available, with prices set at ₹16,25,000, ₹16,00,000, and ₹15,75,000 depending on the floor. He clarified that all these homes are being sold at the predetermined old rates from the year 2018.

This initiative aims to provide an excellent opportunity for middle-class families to purchase their homes at affordable rates, which is a great relief in today's expensive real estate market.

The municipality has strived to ensure that interested buyers face no difficulty in understanding the process, including registration, information on financial aid schemes, and other administrative steps.

Officials emphasized the features of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Complex in Jagannathpur, highlighting the availability of all basic amenities such as streetlights, a well-managed drainage system, and 24-hour pure drinking water supply.
