'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' Held in Balrampur to Mark PM's Birthday
Balrampur, September 18, 2026 – The 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' (Service Commitment Campaign) was organized on Friday at the Maharana Pratap Vanvasi Hostel in Balrampur, coinciding with a grand celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. The primary objective of this event was to disseminate the Prime Minister's vision for public welfare and his contribution to nation-building to every individual in society.
Emphasis was placed on spreading the national resolve of 'Developed India-2047' to the masses and increasing public participation in various government schemes. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamps and offering of floral tributes to the portrait of Mother India by Sadar MLA plturam, Principal of the college Prof. JP Pandey, Patron Dr. Kaushalya Gupta, and District President Dr. Rajiv Ranjan.
Discussions on Prime Minister's Contribution to Nation-Building
During the event, an extensive discussion was held on the Prime Minister's twenty-five years in public life, with a particular focus on his message of service, development, and nation-building. Sadar MLA plturam, in his address, stated that the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' serves as a crucial medium to convey the Prime Minister's message of service, development, and nation-building to the last person in society.
He highlighted the Prime Minister's vision and mission towards national service by mentioning various public welfare schemes implemented under his leadership. The MLA also emphasized that this campaign plays a significant role in ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible individuals.
Spreading the 'Developed India' Resolve
The program's chairman, Prof. JP Pandey, clarified that the campaign aims to connect people with the national resolve of 'Developed India-2047'. He stated that through this initiative, efforts will be made to increase public participation in various development schemes of the central and state governments and their benefits. Prof. Pandey underscored public participation as the key to the success of any development plan.
District President Dr. Rajiv Ranjan described the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' as a powerful means to connect marginalized sections, farmers, and laborers with government schemes. He added that such campaigns ensure outreach to those segments of society who might lack awareness about these schemes.
Honors and Vote of Thanks
The successful execution of the program was managed by Lt. Dr. Devendra Kumar Chauhan, the publicity co-in-charge of the hostel. During the event, new members of the hostel committee and Prof. Ashok Kumar were specially honored with traditional shawls and garlands. At the conclusion of the program, General Secretary Indu Bhushan Jaiswal expressed gratitude to all the citizens, guests, and workers present.
