Yatra Arrives in Chachaura
The 'Satya Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra', a procession from Ujjain to Ayodhya led by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh, arrived in Chachaura on Monday. The march traversed various villages, aiming to spread the ideals of Sanatan Dharma and demand transparency in the usage of donations received at religious sites.
Journey Through Villages and Temples
The yatra commenced from Nyayapura Jod in Guna district on Monday, passing through villages like Kalapipal, Neshkalan, Kundaliya, and Maria Kheri Khurd. Digvijaya Singh also offered prayers at the Ganesh temple in Dundala. In the evening, the foot march proceeded through Chachaura town to Binaganj, where accommodation for the night was arranged at the Rambal Palace Garden.
Jaivardhan Singh Joins the March
Jaivardhan Singh, the MLA from Raghogarh, and Mahamandaleshwar Computer Baba joined the padyatris (foot marchers). Jaivardhan Singh referred to his 79-year-old father's extensive walk as a 'blessing from Lord Shri Raghav Ji Maharaj.' He recalled the motto of the Raghogarh princely state, stating that adherence to truth and righteousness is true dharma. He welcomed all participants and expressed a wish for the re-establishment of the pride of Sanatan Dharma.
Broader Objectives of the Yatra
This nearly one-thousand-kilometer journey from Ujjain to Ayodhya is disseminating the core ideals of Sanatan Dharma, including truth, justice, and compassion. Furthermore, the yatra is emphasizing the demand for accountability and transparency in the accounts of donations and offerings received at religious institutions. Digvijaya Singh is strongly advocating for impartial investigations and accountability concerning issues like 'chanda chori' (donation theft) and 'vote chori' (vote theft).
Local Reception and Future Plans
Local residents enthusiastically welcomed the marchers at various points, showcasing their support for the procession. The religious yatra is now preparing to move towards its next destination.
