Scindia Approves Rs 3 Crore for Road Construction in Guna

Road Construction Project Sanctioned

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North-Eastern Region, and Guna MP, Jyotiraditya Scindia, has approved an amount of three crore rupees for the construction of the road from Gulabganj to Cantt Chauraha, fulfilling a major demand of local citizens.

This announcement was made during a public hearing program in Guna, where residents highlighted the dilapidated condition of this crucial route and the difficulties faced in commuting. Minister Scindia, acknowledging the public's concern, assured immediate action.

Project Prioritization and Funding

He clarified that this road project would be prioritized using the special fund of fifteen crore rupees received from the Chief Minister. The decision to allocate three crore rupees for this purpose was made on the spot.

Member of Legislative Assembly, Pannalal Shakya, was also present during the occasion and emphasized the project's vital importance for public welfare. The construction work is slated to commence after the monsoon season.

Implementation and Quality Assurance

The Union Minister provided detailed instructions to the Guna Collector regarding this project. He stressed the need for immediate preparation of estimates and timely completion of the tender process without any delay.

Mr. Scindia also emphasized the administration's responsibility to ensure the quality of construction work. He stated that the road construction would only begin on the ground after the cessation of the monsoon season, to maintain construction quality and ensure long-term benefits for the public.

Improved Connectivity for Locals

Upon completion, this road construction project will provide smooth and secure connectivity for thousands of local residents commuting between Gulabganj and Cantt Chauraha. The current poor condition of the road has caused significant hardships, increasing travel time and accident risks.

It is expected that the completion of this project will not only improve local traffic flow but also provide better basic facilities for the region's residents, leading to a positive change in their lifestyles. The administration is now preparing to complete this work within the stipulated timeframe.
