PDA Convention Held in Balrampur
Balrampur, September 10, 2026 – The Samajwadi Party's district office, Lohia Bhawan, in Balrampur hosted a PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) convention. Senior party leaders, officials, and a large number of workers participated in this significant conference.
Discussions focused on strengthening social justice and empowering the organization up to the booth level. The program was presided over by District President Manik Lal Kashyap, with Tufani Prasad Nishad, State Vice President of the Samajwadi Backward Classes Cell, attending as the chief guest. Speakers highlighted the unity of backward, Dalit, and minority communities as the most potent force in the fight for social justice and emphasized collective efforts for equal opportunities and democratic rights.
Strengthening the Organization from the Grassroots
Rakesh Yadav, MLA from Gaisari, underscored the Samajwadi Party's consistent struggle for the rights and equality of marginalized sections. He urged party workers to effectively communicate the party's policies and ideology to the masses. Yadav also discussed a clear action plan for activating and strengthening the organization at the ground level, particularly at the booth level.
The convention saw warm greetings for chief guest Tufani Prasad Nishad from former MLA Ram Sagar Akela, Assembly President Vijay Maurya, and senior leader Dr. Bhanu Tiwari. Many party workers were present, including Manish Sonkar, Arvind Choudhary, District Media In-charge Ganesh Prasad Yadav, Sadhu Paswan, Krishna Kumar Gihar, Ramakant Dubey, Shailendra Yadav, Abdul Haseeb Khan, and Sushil Paswan.
All speakers expressed satisfaction with the convention's success and reaffirmed their commitment to working with full dedication for social unity and organizational strengthening in the coming times.
