During this meeting, committee officials discussed upcoming programs and demands. The meeting was presided over by committee patron Om Prakash Dubey and conducted by State General Secretary Jaishiv Mishra.
Call for Economic Reservation
Dr. Sushil Samrat, the State President of the committee, announced that the Parashuram Seva Samiti will raise its voice in support of the upper caste community at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. He highlighted the committee's key demands and future plans, emphasizing that the current reservation system should prioritize economic criteria to provide equal opportunities to economically disadvantaged sections of society.
Memorandum to Be Submitted
Dr. Samrat further stated that the committee officials will submit a memorandum to the District Magistrate of Etawah on August 24, Monday, at 10 AM, addressed to the President of India. The memorandum aims to clarify that all sections of society, regardless of caste or background, should receive assistance based on their economic status. This initiative, according to committee members, will be a crucial step towards establishing equality and justice in society, ensuring that deserving and needy individuals have equal opportunities to progress.
District-Level Protest Planned
Alongside the decision to submit the memorandum, the meeting also resolved that if their demands are not addressed promptly, the Parashuram Seva Samiti will organize a large-scale district-level protest demonstration in the coming days. This protest is intended to be a strong effort to convey their demands to the government and relevant authorities.
