Emphasis on Swift Resolution of Revenue Cases in Narsinghpur

In a significant review meeting of revenue officers held on Wednesday in Narsinghpur, Collector Smt. Rajni Singh strongly emphasized the swift and effective resolution of pending revenue cases in the district. She specifically conducted a thorough evaluation of the progress of crucial revenue tasks linked to citizens, such as land mutation, partition, and demarcation.

Progress and Pending Cases in Revenue Matters

According to official figures, a total of 22,746 revenue cases were registered in the district, out of which 18,768 cases have been resolved. This indicates a satisfactory progress rate of approximately 83 percent. However, 3,978 cases still remain pending and require immediate attention.

Details on Pending Land Mutations, Partitions, and Demarcations

A report presented during the meeting detailed the status of pending cases. Out of a total of 9,586 mutation cases, 7,827 have been successfully settled. Similarly, 1,012 out of 1,264 partition cases have been resolved. For demarcation, 2,139 out of 2,147 cases have been executed, highlighting a high rate of progress in this area.

Strict Adherence to Online Application Submission Mandated

Collector Smt. Rajni Singh issued clear directives during the meeting, stating that henceforth, no revenue case will be accepted offline. All applications will be mandatorily registered online through Public Service Centers. She warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against the concerned Tehsildar if any deviation from the rules is found during inspections.

Review of Farmer Registry and Crop Survey Operations

The meeting also included a detailed discussion on the progress of the Farmer Registry. So far, 8,257 Farmer IDs have been generated through camps. Furthermore, a comprehensive review was conducted on the current status of vital tasks such as the crop survey (Kharif 2026-27), e-KYC under the Prime Minister Kisan Yojana, land linking, and verification of suspect beneficiaries.

Review of Administrative Agenda Items

The administrative agenda included a review of the status of prompt resolution of various complaints received under land acquisition, revenue collection, the Chief Minister's Helpline, and the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Arvind Singh, along with all Sub-Divisional Revenue Officers, Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars of the district.

Goal to Achieve Timely Completion and Citizen Benefits

The administration has set a target to complete all pending tasks within the stipulated timelines. This aims to ensure that citizens directly benefit from good governance and their revenue-related issues are resolved promptly.
