City Adorned with 20,000 Diyas for PM Modi's Birthday

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday on Thursday evening, Narsinghgarh city was illuminated by the glow of diyas. As part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', a special festival of lamps saw approximately twenty thousand diyas lit in prominent temples, public places, and citizens' homes, creating an unprecedented atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration across the entire town.

Illumination Across Key Landmarks

The lamp-lighting ceremony commenced at 6:30 PM at the Jal Mandir, followed by the Bada Mahadev Mandir at 7:30 PM, and the Ramlala Mandir in Deendayal Park at 8:00 PM. Significant public spaces, including the Balbatpura Chowk Mandir and statues of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Chain Singh, and Subhash Chandra Bose, along with prominent sites like the Shaheed Smarak School, were also adorned with diyas.

Prayers for Prime Minister's Well-being

A special ritual held at the Jal Mandir offered prayers for the Prime Minister's good health, long life, and his dedicated service to the nation. The event aimed to foster a sense of national pride and collective commitment.

Municipal Support and Citizen Engagement

The successful execution of this grand event was significantly aided by the cooperation of the Municipal Council and local workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The municipality provided twenty thousand diyas, which were distributed to citizens via Anganwadi workers. This initiative fostered a house-to-house 'diya' celebration, reflecting the local populace's affection and respect for the Prime Minister.

Presence of Dignitaries and Festivities

The deepotsav program was graced by the presence of several senior BJP officials and distinguished citizens, including regional MLA Mohan Sharma, SDM Ajay Pratap Singh, Municipal CMO Abhishek Jain, Tehsildar Anirik Kanotiya, and Janpad CEO Prabal Pratap Ajariya. The event continued late into the night, featuring a fireworks display. Throughout the entire occasion, the resolve of 'Service, Dedication, and Nation Building' was reiterated, strengthening the spirit of national pride and enthusiasm among the local residents.
