Inspection of Wards and Drainage Issues

Narmadapuram Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of wards number 27 and 02 today. During the visit, local residents raised concerns regarding drainage problems with the Municipal President.

Acting swiftly on citizen complaints, Mrs. Yadav summoned the concerned sanitation team immediately and ensured an effective resolution to the waterlogging issue. Present during this significant inspection were Chief Municipal Officer Vaibhav Deshmukh, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in-charge Anurag Tiwari, Engineer Reena Gupta, and Supervisor Kamlesh Tiwari, among other departmental officials.

Festival Preparedness and Route Inspections

Mrs. Yadav stated that preparations are being thoroughly reviewed in various important areas of the city, keeping in mind the upcoming festivals. As part of vigilance inspections on major routes for the festive season, the Municipal President also visited Jaystambh Chowk, Halwai Chowk, and Itwara Bazaar.

Additionally, she observed the arrangements in wards number 4, 5, and 6. All these areas are part of the primary routes used by devotees to access the holy banks of the Narmada River. The sanitation conditions and traffic management on these crucial routes were meticulously reviewed.

Strict Directives for Festival Season

Mrs. Yadav issued strict instructions to officials, emphasizing that the entire team must remain extremely vigilant and prepared to maintain smooth arrangements in the city during the festive season. Employees have been asked to be on alert mode to prevent any form of citizen inconvenience.

The highest priority for the municipal administration is to ensure that devotees and local residents do not face any difficulties during the auspicious festival occasion. Towards this end, the municipality is enhancing the monitoring of routes leading to the ghats, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and commute.
