Sanitation Drive Initiated Before Festive Season

Ahead of the auspicious festival of Diwali, administrative officials and the municipal team in Narsinghgarh have undertaken a unique initiative to ensure cleanliness in the town. The city has been facing significant accumulation of garbage due to an ongoing indefinite strike by sanitation workers, impacting daily life.

To address this critical situation and inspire citizens towards cleanliness, administrative officers themselves took to the streets with brooms. On Friday, at the Parmar Dham intersection near Canara Bank, a comprehensive team from the revenue department and the municipality, led by SDM Ajay Pratap Singh, Tehsildar Anirudh Kanotiya, Naib Tehsildar Sunita, and Municipal CMO Abhishek Jain, jointly cleaned the roads.

Appeal for Citizen Cooperation in Maintaining Hygiene

During this cleanliness drive, officials specifically appealed to the residents. They emphasized that Diwali is a major festival of joy and cleanliness, and all citizens must pay special attention to maintaining hygiene in their surroundings during this period. They urged people not to litter on the streets and to dispose of waste only in designated areas.

This initiative is not merely about restoring sanitation services but also an effort to raise awareness among residents about the importance of cleanliness. The administration's action is expected to foster a new sense of awareness regarding cleanliness in the city. Officials anticipate public cooperation in this endeavor to ensure sustained improvements in sanitation and to allow all residents to celebrate Diwali in a clean environment.

This step ensures that no dirt or disorder mars the festive atmosphere.
