Mobile Court Seizes Tinted Thar, Imposes Heavy Fines on Bullet Motorcycles in Bhind

Mobile Court Operations and Vehicle Impoundment

Following directives from the High Court Bench, Gwalior, a mobile court was operated under the leadership of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bhind, Dr. Manoj Goyal. A special vehicle checking campaign was organized in front of the Dehat police station with the primary objective of taking strict action against vehicles violating traffic rules.

During the checking campaign, a thorough inspection was conducted focusing on black films on four-wheeler vehicles, the use of unauthorized sirens, failure to wear seatbelts, non-use of helmets by two-wheeler riders, and the safety standards of school buses. In a significant development, attempts were made to stop a Thar car (registration number M.P.07 A.K.7765), but the driver attempted to flee. The Dehat police promptly intercepted and seized the vehicle.

The illegally affixed black film from the vehicle was removed and confiscated on the spot. The seized Thar has been kept at the Dehat police station, Bhind, for safekeeping. The operation also saw the seizure of a Bullet motorcycle for causing noise pollution due to its modified silencer emitting loud, firecracker-like sounds, a clear violation of noise pollution regulations.

Enforcement and Fines Levied

Additionally, action was taken against another Bullet motorcycle under the Motor Vehicles Act. On Tuesday, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bhind, Dr. Manoj Goyal presided over the hearings for the cases of the vehicles seized the previous day.

Following the hearings, a substantial fine of ₹12,000 was imposed and collected from the Bullet motorcycle with the modified silencer. A fine of ₹5,000 was levied on the second Bullet motorcycle. Procedural action will be taken in court against the Thar vehicle as per the rules.

The intensive checking campaign was attended by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bhind, Dr. Manoj Goyal, Station House Officer Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat, Sub-Inspectors Vijay Shivhare and Ajay Yadav, court staff, and personnel from the Dehat police station. This action is considered a significant step towards raising public awareness about traffic rules and enhancing road safety.
