Minister Reviews Development Work, Issues Stern Instructions to Officials

Farrukhabad | November 2, 2026 - Tourism and Culture Minister Jayveer Singh presided over a review meeting of development works and law and order in the district at the Collectorate Auditorium, Fatehgarh. During the meeting, he meticulously assessed the progress of schemes operating in line with government priorities and issued important directives to the concerned officials.

District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lather presented the minister with statues of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on behalf of the district administration. Addressing the gathering, the minister emphasized ensuring that the benefits of development schemes reach the last person in society.

Key Directives Issued to Officials

The minister instructed officials to maintain constant dialogue with local representatives and to address public interest matters with seriousness and timely resolution. He reviewed the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme and the Family ID Scheme, directing strict adherence to eligibility rules and acceleration of work.

Strict Action Against Black Marketing of Fertilizers

Regarding fertilizer distribution, the minister stated that any instance of overcharging or illegal storage of fertilizers would not be tolerated. He directed the Assistant Commissioner to ensure that cooperative societies never run out of fertilizer stock, facilitating easy availability for farmers.

Ensuring Uninterrupted Power Supply

In anticipation of the upcoming Diwali festival, the minister issued stringent instructions to the electricity department to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the district. Additionally, the Public Works Department was advised to maintain quality in road construction.

Distribution of Benefits to Beneficiaries

At the conclusion of the meeting, eligible beneficiaries from various departments were provided with benefits. Five beneficiaries received motorized tricycles under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, two received agricultural machinery from the Agriculture Department, and two beneficiaries were handed keys to their homes under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme.

Self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission received revolving fund checks, and beneficiaries received sanction letters through the Social Welfare Department. Minister Jayveer Singh congratulated all the beneficiaries, stating that the government is committed to empowering every segment of society. Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh and all key departmental officials of the district were present at the meeting.
