The victim's wife and young child were present during the brutal attack, witnessing the terrifying scene unfold before their eyes. According to information received, 32-year-old Arun, a resident of Dayalpur, Faridabad, was returning home by car with his wife Rakhi and their child after a religious trip to Varanasi.
The assailants, traveling in a white car, opened indiscriminate fire on Arun. He sustained severe injuries to his head and shoulder, succumbing to his wounds at the scene. The incident has sent shockwaves through the police department, with senior officials and multiple police teams quickly arriving at the location.
Police Swift Response and Investigation Underway
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police initiated an immediate response. Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Girish Kumar Singh, CO City Abhay Verma, and police teams from several stations reached the spot. Senior officers surveyed the crime scene and the body was sent to the morticiary of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The police have taken possession of the DVRs from CCTV cameras installed around the crime scene and have commenced a thorough investigation. Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh stated that the deceased Arun was returning from Varanasi with his family. Preliminary investigations confirm that the unknown assailants fired multiple shots.
The police are in the process of registering a case based on the complaint filed by the victim's family. Authorities are confident that crucial clues have been obtained from the CCTV footage, and multiple teams are actively working to apprehend the culprits.
