Special Training for Recruit Constables

To tackle the increasing incidents of cybercrimes in Mahoba, the police department has taken a significant step. On Saturday, a special training program was organized for recruit constables at the Police Lines auditorium. The primary objective of this training was to educate the newly appointed police personnel about various types of cybercrimes prevalent in the digital world and to prepare them to effectively combat them.

This training was conducted under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shashank Singh. The program was presided over by Circle Officer Cybercrime Anuruddh Kumar, while Station House Officer of the Cyber Police Station Arjun Singh was also specially present.

Understanding and Countering Cyber Threats

During the training, recruit constables were provided with detailed information about the currently prevalent cybercrimes. This included serious cases such as online fraud, phishing attacks, OTP-based scams, hacking of social media accounts, and fraud using fake websites and mobile applications.

The training program emphasized not only the types of cybercrimes but also practical methods for their prevention. Recruit constables were taught how to identify these crimes and take immediate steps to assist victims. Furthermore, special attention was given to how to securely collect digital evidence and the process of technical investigation, which is crucial for ensuring effective legal action against offenders.

Necessity of Police Vigilance

“The current era is an era of modern technology, and in such times, it is paramount for police personnel to be trained and vigilant against cybercrimes,” stated Circle Officer Cybercrime Anuruddh Kumar. He stressed that the alertness of police personnel will prove instrumental in providing timely assistance to the public and curbing criminals.

He further informed that such training programs are regularly organized by the Mahoba Police to prevent cybercrimes in the district and to make citizens aware, thereby keeping society safe from digital threats.
