In anticipation of Independence Day, the non-governmental organization (NGO) 'My Bharat' in Mahoba has launched a unique initiative to foster awareness among children regarding cleanliness, environmental protection, and social responsibility. This effort is part of the ongoing 'Cleanliness Fortnight' campaign.

The organization hosted a two-day series of creative competitions, including painting and speech contests, which saw enthusiastic participation from local children. Through these events, the children showcased their talents while conveying a powerful message for the creation of a clean and healthy society.

The events were graced by Raksha Tiwari as the chief guest and Ankita Mishra as the special guest. The dignitaries not only encouraged the children but also emphasized that cleanliness transcends individual responsibility, constituting a collective social duty.

They underscored that instilling sensitivity towards cleanliness and the environment in children from a young age can bring about lasting, positive changes in society, which is crucial for the future.

Painting Competition: Cleanliness Message in Colors

The painting competition, held as part of the 'Cleanliness Fortnight,' showcased a remarkable fusion of imagination and creativity among the children. Participants vividly brought to life themes such as 'Cleanliness,' 'Environmental Protection,' and 'Clean Society' through their artwork.

Their captivating drawings effectively conveyed messages about maintaining hygiene, safeguarding the environment, and keeping public spaces clean. The competition successfully provided a platform for children to utilize their artistic skills for social messaging.

In the painting competition, Kumari Khushi secured the first position, followed by Divyanshi in second place. Kumari Khushi (another participant) clinched the third position, demonstrating her artistic prowess. All winning participants were honored with prizes and certificates by the organizers and distinguished guests, who also wished them a bright future and commended their efforts.

Speech Competition: A Call for Cleanliness Through Ideas

The day after the painting competition, on August 6, 2026, the 'My Bharat' NGO organized a speech competition at Navjeevan Hotel in Mahoba. A large number of children participated with great enthusiasm, captivating the audience with their thoughts and ideas.

The event was attended by Raksha Tiwari, Gayatri, and Manisha Chaubey. During the competition, children articulately expressed their views on critical topics such as 'The Importance of Cleanliness,' 'Environmental Protection,' 'The Harmful Effects of Plastic Pollution,' 'Clean Public Spaces,' and 'Citizen Responsibilities.'

Their speeches strongly advocated for integrating cleanliness into daily life and playing an active role in environmental conservation. The participants inspired the audience through their eloquence and logical presentations.

In the speech competition, Kishori Tripathi emerged as the first-place winner, Shalini took second place, and Tapashya secured the third position. The winners were presented with certificates of appreciation and prizes, boosting their morale.

According to the organizers, such competitions not only offer children a chance to showcase their talents but also enable them to deeply understand social issues and articulate their perspectives.

Social Awareness: A Continuous Effort

Shivendra Singh and all the workers of 'My Bharat' played a significant role in organizing this entire program. The organizers stressed that campaigns like 'Cleanliness Fortnight' should extend beyond mere physical cleaning to encompass broader public awareness.

They stated that creative and intellectual activities like painting and speeches can persistently raise children's awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection. The organization believes that children can become the most effective agents of social change.

If the spirit of cleanliness, environmental protection, and social responsibility is instilled in them from a young age, it will positively impact not only their families but also drive significant change across the entire society. At the conclusion of the program, the organizers extended their heartfelt gratitude to all participants, guests, and supporters for their invaluable cooperation.
