Madhya Pradesh: Major Reshuffle of 11 IAS Officers, Sagar Divisional Commissioner Transferred

Major Administrative Shake-up in Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh government on Saturday, September 5, 2026, implemented a significant administrative reshuffle, issuing transfer orders for 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. This extensive change sees new appointments across several key departments, with five officers also assigned additional responsibilities alongside their current duties.

The reshuffle is expected to inject new energy into governance and administration. One of the most crucial changes involves the post of the Commissioner for the Sagar division. Anil Suchari, who previously held the position of Sagar Divisional Commissioner, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Bhandar Grih Nigam, Bhopal. He will be succeeded by Dilip Kumar, who will take charge as the new Commissioner of the Sagar division. Dilip Kumar was previously posted as the Industry Commissioner and also held the additional charge of Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam.

New Responsibilities for Key Officials

According to the issued orders, Anubha Shrivastava has been appointed as the Secretary in the Revenue Department. Satendra Singh will now serve as the Secretary for the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department and the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department. Neha Marvya Singh has been made the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation.

Nidhi Nivedita has been entrusted with the significant responsibility of Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal Revenue Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, she has been given the additional charge of Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Gwalior. Anurag Verma has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation, while Mayank Agarwal will now be the CEO of the Developed India-Employment Guarantee Livelihood Mission (Rural) and will also hold the additional charge of Samagra Narmada Mission. Sandeep G.R. has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Women and Child Development Department. Avi Prasad will be posted as the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited.

Meanwhile, Neha Jain has been appointed as the CEO of Smart City Ujjain, and she will also hold the additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Ujjain Municipal Corporation. The move is expected to enhance administrative efficiency in the region.

Additional Charges for Five Officers

As part of this administrative restructuring, the government has assigned additional responsibilities to five senior officers along with their current posts. These officers include Raghuraj M.R., Tarun Rathi, Kumar Purushottam, Sheetala Patle, and Anisha Shrivastava. The assumption of these additional charges by these officers is expected to facilitate smoother operations across various departments.

This administrative reshuffle will impact several critical sectors, including revenue, industry, women and child development, civil supplies, health, tribal development, and urban administration. The appointments of the new officials are anticipated to bring in new working methodologies and enhanced efficiency to these departments.
