Journey Begins with Patriotic Zeal

A contingent of selected youth from Bhind commenced their journey on Tuesday under the 'Maa Tujhe Pranam' scheme, operated by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department of the Madhya Pradesh government. Superintendent of Police Suraj Verma flagged them off, signaling the start of a significant endeavor to instill national pride.

This tour will see the participants visit historically and culturally important sites in the state capital, Bhopal, and the renowned hill station of Pachmarhi. The primary objective is to enhance patriotism and awareness of the state's glorious history among the young participants. Neeraj Singh Baghel, the Rural Youth Coordinator, is leading the group.

Itinerary and Historical Exploration

According to the planned itinerary, the group will first reach Morena, representing the Chambal division. From there, they will proceed towards Bhopal. In Bhopal, they are scheduled to visit significant historical locations such as the Shaurya Smarak, Bhojpur, and Bhimbetka.

Following their exploration of Bhopal's historical landmarks, the tour will continue to Pachmarhi, a prominent tourist and historical destination in the state. This leg of the journey aims to connect the youth with the state's rich heritage and foster a sense of national pride.

SP Encourages Discipline and Sharing of Experiences

“You must remain disciplined during this tour and strive to learn about the state's heritage up close,” stated Superintendent of Police Suraj Verma to the selected youth before their departure. He expressed his expectation that the participants would share their experiences with their families and friends upon their return, encouraging wider engagement with the state's history and culture.

The 'Maa Tujhe Pranam' scheme is specifically designed to connect the youth with their state's rich cultural and historical heritage. Through this program, participants will gain insights not only into important monuments and sites but also into their historical significance and associated tales of bravery.

Promoting National Pride and Responsible Citizenship

The significance of this tour lies in its aim to awaken a sense of pride in the nation among the youth and familiarize them with their state's historical importance. Officials advised the participants to maintain discipline and gather in-depth information about each location visited.

This initiative is presented as a crucial opportunity for knowledge acquisition, extending beyond mere tourism. The young participants are expected to share their experiences with peers and their communities to amplify the impact of the 'Maa Tujhe Pranam' scheme. This serves as a vital step in connecting the younger generation with their state's glorious past, fostering responsible citizenship for the future.
