Under the Madhya Pradesh government's 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', the Akoda Nagar Parishad organized the 'Ashirwad Ka Deep' program on September 19, 2026. The initiative aimed to foster religious, cultural, and social harmony by lighting lamps in prominent temples across all fifteen wards of the town, with special prayers for the prosperity of its residents.

The event commenced with the lighting of lamps and prayers at the town's main temples, led by representatives, officials, and staff of the Nagar Parishad. A devotional atmosphere enveloped the entire town, with temples adorned in special decorations that lent a unique splendor.
