A grand celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami took place in the New Bazaar area of Tulsipur town, Balrampur district, on September 10, 2026, drawing an immense crowd. The festival, organized by the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration Committee, was highlighted by cultural performances presented by the Shri Balaji Jhanki Group and Vicky Flower & Events.
Enchanting Performances Mesmerize Attendees
Various tableaux brought mythological scenes to life, mesmerising the audience. Captivating depictions of Radha and Krishna, along with dynamic dance performances by 'Bahubali Hanuman' and 'Mahakal', created a deeply devotional atmosphere throughout the venue. The entire compound reverberated with chants of 'Jai Shri Krishna' and 'Jai Shri Radhe', as thousands of women and children swayed in devotional fervor.
Tableaux and Performances Foster Devotion
The Shri Balaji Jhanki Group and Vicky Flower & Events immersed devotees in a sea of devotion with their performances. The enchanting tableaux of Radha-Krishna and the dance of Mahakal particularly captivated the devotees. These tableaux not only enhanced the splendor of the festival but also connected the devotees with mythological narratives.
Community Effort and Esteemed Guests
Committee organizer Amit Kasodhan mentioned that while the Janmashtami is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year, this year's lifelike depiction of the tableaux made it even more special. The event, held under the patronage of the committee's patron, Mithlesh Nath Yogi, Peethadheeshwar of Devipatan, was widely appreciated. Numerous distinguished guests and local citizens, including Arun Dev Arya, Dilip Gupta, Praveen Singh Vicky, Adnan Firoz, Vishnudev Gupta, Ram Prasad Singh, Vishram Singh, Santosh Kasodhan Raju, Charan Sharma, Prakhar Singh, Kamlesh Dev Arya, Sanjay Gurukul, Akshat Pandey, Jai Om Kasodhan, Dinesh Soni, Alok Gupta, Ajay Singh, and Radheshyam Kaushal, were present.
Peaceful Conclusion to the Festival
At the conclusion of the program, committee members including Ravi Arya, Shubham Kasodhan, Ganesh Kasodhan, and Adarsh Kasodhan, expressed their gratitude to all the guests and honored them with portraits of Lord Krishna. The festival thus concluded in a peaceful and devotional atmosphere, with significant participation from local residents.
