Indore Police's Swift Action Saves Student's Life with CPR
Three alert police personnel in Indore administered CPR and ensured timely hospitalization, saving a student who fell from a moving motorcycle.

Police Officers Commended for Life-Saving Intervention
In a demonstration of their readiness and compassion, Madhya Pradesh police officers have once again saved the life of a student critically injured in a road accident. In an incident that occurred in Indore, three police personnel not only provided immediate first aid to the injured student but also played a crucial role in saving his life by ensuring he reached the hospital on time.
For this exemplary act, the Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, Shri Kailash Makwana, has honored the concerned police personnel with a cash award. The incident took place on August 6, 2026, in Indore city. Two students were returning home on a motorcycle.
Dramatic Fall and Immediate Rescue
During their journey, the student riding pillion suddenly fell from the moving motorcycle onto the road and lost consciousness. Fortunately, Head Constable Shri Balram Chauhan of Rau Police Station, Head Constable Shri Rahul Bordia of Rajendra Nagar Police Station, and Constable Shri Vivek Prajapati, who were on regular patrol in view of the Kanwar Yatra, witnessed the accident.
Without any delay, the police officers reached the spot. Observing the student's critical condition and unconsciousness, they moved him to a safe location with the help of bystanders. Noticing the student was unresponsive and struggling to breathe, Head Constable Shri Balram Chauhan and Head Constable Shri Rahul Bordia immediately began administering CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
Timely Intervention Proves Crucial
The life-saving procedure showed immediate results; the student's condition began to improve, and his breathing normalized. After the student's condition stabilized due to CPR, the police personnel wasted no time. They promptly arranged for an auto-rickshaw and rushed the injured student to the nearest hospital, where doctors immediately began his treatment.
The student's precious life was saved solely due to the timely administration of CPR and prompt transportation to the hospital. This action by the Madhya Pradesh Police serves as an inspiring example of their vigilance, quick decision-making ability, and human empathy. The incident highlights that in addition to maintaining law and order, police personnel are also fully dedicated to protecting citizens' lives in emergency situations.
