Meena Community Demands Swift Action in Multi-Crore Theft Case

In Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, the Meena community, along with the victim's family, approached the Superintendent of Police's office on Tuesday. They submitted a memorandum to Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal concerning the sensational multi-crore rupee theft in Chak Churela village, Fatehgarh police station area.

Demands for Recovery and Strict Action

The community is demanding an expedited resolution of the case, the full recovery of the stolen goods, and stringent action against the perpetrators. A large number of community members were present during the submission of the memorandum.

They expressed concern and anger, noting that despite several days passing since the incident, the stolen valuables worth crores have not been recovered. This has created an atmosphere of worry and outrage not only for the victim's family but for the entire community.

The Extent of the Theft

The community emphasized the need for a prompt disclosure of such a significant incident to maintain public trust in the police.

Burglary Details Emerge

The theft occurred at the residence of Babulal Meena in Chak Churela village. The perpetrators entered by removing a window grill and subsequently opened the main door to gain access. The gang managed to remove a 250 kg safe from the second floor.

Police investigations revealed that the safe contained approximately 2.5 kg of gold, 6 kg of silver, and about ₹11.50 lakh in cash. Notably, about ₹6 lakh of this cash was set aside for temple construction.

Perpetrators' Tactics

During the burglary, the thieves bolted the doors of the family members' rooms from the outside, ensuring no one could raise an alarm.

Suspected 'Pardi Gang' Involvement

Based on the modus operandi, the police suspect the involvement of the notorious 'Pardi gang'. Authorities have identified suspects and initiated a search for them.

The Meena community has warned that if a swift resolution is not achieved, they will escalate their protest through democratic means.

SP Assures Prompt Resolution

Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal met with the delegation and discussed the matter in detail. She assured the community that the police are investigating the case with utmost seriousness and are committed to arresting the accused and recovering the stolen property soon.

Following the SP's assurance, community members expressed hope for swift action.
