Grand Maha Aarti of Virajeshwar Mahaganpati Held in Narmadapuram, 56 Bhog Offered

Devotional Celebration at Rajya Sabha MP's Residence

Narmadapuram, September 22, 2026 – A special puja, the offering of 56 Bhog, and a grand Maha Aarti were held on Monday evening at the residence of Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia for Virajeshwar Mahaganpati. This religious festival was a unique blend of devotion and reverence, attended by a large number of devotees along with local administrative and police officials.

The ceremony, conducted under the guidance of Acharya Somesh Parsai, involved the meticulous worship of Lord Shri Ganesh. Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia highlighted Ganesh Utsav as a powerful medium for strengthening social unity, mutual love, brotherhood, and harmony, stating that the festival extends beyond a mere religious event.

“May this celebration strengthen social unity, mutual love, brotherhood, and harmony,” said MP Maya Narolia.

She prayed to Lord Shri Ganesh to remove obstacles from everyone's lives and to maintain peace and prosperity in every home. During the Maha Aarti, devotees present also prayed for universal welfare.

Presence of Senior Officials

The significant religious ceremony was graced by the presence of senior district officials. Among those in attendance were Collector Somesh Mishra, Superintendent of Police Sai Krishna Thota, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Himanshu Jain, and Probationary Deputy Collector Rakhi Badole.

Additionally, Vikas Narolia, member of the Telecommunication Advisory Committee, Tehsildar Sunil Sharma, and other public representatives and distinguished citizens also participated in the event.

Distribution of Mahaprasad Amidst Devotional Atmosphere

A devotional atmosphere prevailed throughout the entire event, with the distribution of Mahaprasad. Devotees took part in the Maha Aarti amidst chants of victory for Lord Ganesh. The venue was specially decorated, and a steady stream of devotees continued to arrive late into the evening.

Following the completion of religious rituals and ceremonies, Mahaprasad was distributed to all attendees. This event effectively showcased the coordination of religion and culture at the local level, serving as a prominent center of devotion and joy in the region.
