A brazen daylight theft has been reported from an empty house in the Block Colony area of the Aaron Police Station jurisdiction in Guna district. Unknown perpetrators broke into the residence, stealing a government laptop, brass idols, household rations, and other valuables. The incident has caused considerable concern among local residents.
Details of the Theft and Stolen Items
The complainant, Rinku Ojha, stated in his police report that his entire family had left home for an errand on September 7. Upon her return around 1:30 PM, his wife discovered the main door's lock had been broken, and the house interior was in disarray. Investigations revealed that the thieves had gained entry through the gallery.
The stolen items include:
- One government laptop
- Brass idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Laddu Gopal
- A significant portion of household rations
- A tool box
- Motorcycle keys
According to the complainant, the estimated value of the stolen goods is approximately twenty-five thousand rupees.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving the information, a team from the Aaron Police Station immediately arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. Based on the complaint filed by Rinku Ojha, the police have registered an FIR against unknown thieves under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police are currently interviewing local residents and gathering evidence to identify the suspects responsible for the crime.
