A Step Towards Self-Reliance for the Differently-Abled in Bhind

The Bhind district administration has taken a significant step towards empowering individuals with disabilities by fostering their self-reliance. On Friday, the Collector presented motorized tricycles to two beneficiaries, injecting renewed hope into their lives. This initiative was made possible through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds, aimed at supporting underprivileged sections of society.

The two individuals who received this assistance are Shri Dhara Singh, a resident of Ward No. 09 in Mehgaon, and Shri Murari, a resident of Ward No. 10 in Mihona. Their faces clearly displayed happiness and gratitude upon receiving the tricycles.

This facility is expected to provide them with greater freedom and mobility in their daily activities, leading to an improvement in their standard of living.

Collector Emphasizes Self-Reliance and Safety

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector stated that such initiatives are crucial for integrating differently-abled citizens into the mainstream and making them self-reliant. He instructed Shri Dhara Singh and Shri Murari to strictly adhere to safety regulations while using the motorized tricycles and to pay special attention to their technical maintenance.

The Collector also assured that the district administration will continue to strive for the welfare of differently-abled citizens. He emphasized the importance of safe usage and regular upkeep of the vehicles.

CSR Fund Contribution and Beneficiary Reactions

Shri Dhara Singh and Shri Murari expressed their deep gratitude to the district administration and all organizations that supported this project. They stated that these motorized tricycles represent not just a mode of transport but a symbol of independence and dignity.

They believe this will enable them to carry out their tasks with ease and reduce their dependence on others. The event was attended by several senior officials, including Shri B.L. Markam, General Manager of District Industry Centre, Malanpur; Shri Sandeep Kumar Chaturvedi, Assistant General Manager of Montage Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Malanpur; and Shri Pawan Singh, Manager of Rishabh Techno, Malanpur.

General Manager Shri Markam informed that these motorized tricycles were provided under the CSR fund by Rishabh Techno Malanpur and Montage Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Malanpur. This initiative highlights the social responsibility of these companies and will play a vital role in facilitating the mobility and livelihoods of the differently-abled.
