Surprise Inspection of Educational Institutions

Farrukhabad: The Cliff News | August 8, 2026 District Magistrate of Farrukhabad, Dr. Ankur Lathar, conducted a surprise inspection on Saturday at the Azizabad Primary School and the Rajlamai Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, located in the Shamsabad development block of Kaimganj tehsil. During the visit, he took stock of the progress of teaching-learning activities and the overall academic arrangements in the schools.

Review of Academic Progress and Facilities

At the Azizabad Primary School, the District Magistrate directly interacted with the students to ascertain their academic progress. He assessed their knowledge level by posing questions related to various subjects. Teachers were also questioned extensively regarding student attendance, the current state of teaching, and curriculum progression.

Emphasizing educational quality, the District Magistrate instructed that quality education be provided to all students, with special attention given to those from weaker sections. He stressed the importance of regularly evaluating students' academic progress and providing extra tuition as needed to ensure expected improvements in each student's learning ability.

The inspection also covered the condition of essential facilities, including cleanliness, drinking water, toilets, and electricity. The concerned officials and teachers were directed to take all necessary steps to maintain a conducive academic environment in the schools.

Focus on Girls' Education and Safety

Subsequently, at the Rajlamai Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, the District Magistrate gathered information about the education of the girl students and the facilities provided to them. He spoke directly with the students to understand their issues and needs. Officials were instructed to ensure that the girl students do not face any inconvenience and that a safe and comfortable environment is maintained within the school.

The District Magistrate highlighted that improving the quality of education is one of the highest priorities of the government. He emphasized that the overall development of students should be a key focus, utilizing available resources effectively.

Present during the inspection were Superintendent of Police Mrs. Aarti Singh, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Girish Kumar, District Basic Education Officer Vishwanath Pratap Singh, and other relevant officials.
