Damoh: Jabera Police Uncover Robbery, Arrest Three
Jabera Police in Damoh district have arrested three individuals in connection with a robbery incident, recovering stolen goods and cash.

Robbery Uncovered, Three Arrested in Damoh
Jabera Police, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi and Additional Superintendent of Police Sujit Singh Bhadauria, have successfully cracked a sensational robbery case in Damoh district, Madhya Pradesh. The operation led to the arrest of three accused and the recovery of stolen items and cash.
The incident occurred on the night of August 4, 2026, around 11 PM. Complainant Sandeep Rai reported to Jabera Police Station that while he and his friend Shubham Sahu were riding a motorcycle towards Jabera, unidentified individuals stopped them near the Daane Baba Temple. The assailants then allegedly threw chili powder into their eyes, assaulted them, and stole ₹20,000 from the complainant's pocket, along with two mobile phones, a bag of clothes, and the motorcycle key before fleeing.
A case was registered at Jabera Police Station under sections 126(2), 309(6), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on the complainant's report. Given the seriousness of the incident, a special police team was formed under the leadership of the Jabera Station House Officer. The team activated informant networks and, utilizing technical evidence, identified and apprehended three individuals involved in the crime.
Accused Identified and Arrested
The arrested accused have been identified as Chandan alias Bahera (22), a resident of Bichhiya Colony, Jabera; Idul Navi alias Kachra (26), from Katangi, Jabalpur district; and Rahul Yadav (21), from Kudan Mohalla, Katangi, Jabalpur district. During interrogation, the arrested individuals confessed to their involvement in the robbery.
Following leads from the accused, the police have seized the stolen goods and the motorcycle used in the commission of the crime. The prompt and commendable action by the police team has been widely praised.
