Cow Rescued After Falling into Drain in Fatehgarh

A serious incident occurred near the Police Line in Fatehgarh on August 2, 2026, when a cow accidentally fell into a drain. The distressed animal was unable to free itself, requiring significant effort from the rescue team.

Upon receiving information about the incident, social worker Rahul Rathore immediately arrived at the scene. He promptly contacted animal welfare volunteers and initiated rescue operations. A team led by Rahul Rathore, comprising Golu Mathur, Karan Kumar, Anuj Rathore, Kohinoor Chauhan, and Sahil Kumar, worked tirelessly.

The team not only attempted to extricate the cow but also secured the use of a JCB machine. After considerable effort, the cow was successfully and safely pulled out of the drain with the help of the excavator.

Local Residents Applaud Rescue Efforts

Local residents, Arvind Kumar and Vinod Gupta, described the rescue as a "commendable act." They strongly praised the rescue team's efforts and expressed their gratitude for the noble deed. The cow received necessary care after being safely rescued.
