Blessing Lamp to Illuminate Bagdun Pond, Strengthening the Resolve for Cleanliness

As part of the ‘Seva Sankalp’ and ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaigns, Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Aarti Garwal conducted a detailed inspection of Bagdun Pond in Ward No. 28. During the inspection, she reviewed preparations for the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programme scheduled to be held at 7 pm and directed the concerned officials to complete all necessary arrangements within the stipulated timeframe.
During the inspection, the CMO assessed the cleanliness arrangements at the venue. She instructed officials to undertake special cleaning activities in and around the pond premises and remove garbage and other waste. In view of the expected participation of a large number of citizens, officials were also directed to ensure proper sanitation arrangements and regular monitoring throughout the programme.
She also reviewed the lighting arrangements at the venue. Since the programme is scheduled for the evening, she directed officials to ensure adequate illumination and make additional lighting arrangements wherever required. Necessary directions were also issued regarding the beautification of the pond premises and ensuring that the programme venue is properly organised and visually appealing.
Garwal directed officials to conduct a final inspection of all arrangements before the programme so that citizens do not face any inconvenience during the event. She instructed the concerned officers and employees to work in coordination and ensure that all preparations are completed on time.
Assistant Engineer Meera Kannauj, Sub-Engineers Sudhir Thakur, Virendra Alawa and Himanshu Singh, Divya Solanki, Sanitation Inspector Rupesh Kumar Surya, Prem Kumar Chouhan, Ashish Dwivedi from Team Divine, Ward Daroga Anil Gosar and other municipal officers and employees were present during the inspection.
CMO Aarti Garwal appealed to the citizens of Pithampur to actively participate in the ‘Seva Sankalp’ and ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaigns. She said that citizens’ participation, along with the efforts of the administration, is important for making the city clean and beautiful. She urged residents to participate in the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programme at Bagdun Pond at 7 pm and contribute to spreading awareness about cleanliness.
