'Run for Prosperity' Unites Thousands in Bhind for a Vision of Progress
On Sunday morning, August 2, 2026, the streets of Bhind city witnessed a unique confluence of patriotism, social responsibility, and youth power. Thousands of young participants enthusiastically took part in the 'Run for Prosperity,' embodying the resolve for a 'Developed, Prosperous, and Progressive Bhind.' Through this approximately 5-kilometer run, the youth conveyed messages of public participation, national service, and social awareness.
Air Chief Marshal Highlights Youth Potential and Future Academy
The chief guest, former Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria of the Indian Air Force, described the land of Chambal as a region of heroes and patriots, stating that there is no shortage of talent and passion here. He emphasized that the need is merely to provide direction and opportunities to the youth. He shared his extensive experience of flying combat aircraft for over 4,250 hours and training on 30 types of aircraft, expressing his desire to now leverage this for the youth of Chambal.
A military training academy is being planned for the Chambal region, where retired senior officers will train the youth. This academy will not only impart skills in weapon handling but also foster leadership, discipline, technological understanding, and a spirit of national service.
Health, Service, and Self-Reliance Messages
Professor and Surgeon Dr. Amit Gupta of AIIMS New Delhi stressed the importance of providing timely treatment to victims of road accidents. He assured all possible support for any needs of Bhind and the Chambal region, appreciating the discipline and energy of the local youth. Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Sanjay Rai of AIIMS, the architect of the COVID vaccine, highlighted the necessity of positive thinking and a spirit of service to advance society.
Dr. Rai shared his experience of developing the indigenous vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting the crucial role played by scientists and doctors in making the nation self-reliant under challenging circumstances.
Overcoming Disability with Inspiration
Padma Shri recipient and differently-abled individual Satyendra Lohia addressed the youth, stating that disability can never be an obstacle to success. He spoke about overcoming every challenge through self-confidence, hard work, and strong determination, encouraging the youth to believe in their potential and move forward.
Ashok Bajpayee, Director from Uttar Pradesh, lauded the enthusiasm of the youth and expressed confidence that the direction and condition of Bhind will definitely change in the coming times.
Concluding Ceremony and Felicitation
The event concluded with a felicitation program where all participants of the 'Run for Prosperity' were awarded certificates. Additionally, senior citizens, social workers, and individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields within the city were honored with commendation letters.
This initiative has injected new energy among the youth of Bhind towards nation-building and social reform.
