Passengers Terrorized by Stone Pelting Incident

The Bhind-Ratlam Express train was targeted by unknown miscreants late Monday night near the Chachaura-BinaGanj station in the Guna district, creating panic among passengers. Around 2 to 3 AM, as the train passed the E-cabin, vandals hurled a heavy stone at it.

The projectile completely shattered the window of the train's H-1 (First AC) coach, with the stone falling directly inside. Fortunately, an elderly woman traveling on seats number 13 and 14 narrowly escaped injury in the incident.

Swift Action and Investigation Underway

The stone's entry into the coach caused chaos among passengers, and the Guna Police Control Room was immediately alerted. Upon receiving the information, Chachaura police station personnel swiftly arrived at the scene.

The police took details from the affected passengers and commenced an investigation. The train's TTE and railway staff also took prompt action, arranging for the relocation of affected passengers to different berths to prevent further inconvenience. A case has been registered by the police in collaboration with the Railway Protection Force (RPF). A search operation is ongoing to identify and apprehend the unknown culprits.
