CMO's Strict Action Against Encroachment

In compliance with the stringent directives issued by Bhind Collector Kirodi Lal Meena regarding city cleanliness and orderly management, the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) of the municipality, Virendra Chakravarty, conducted a surprise visit of the city on Tuesday morning. During this visit, he inspected Sadar Bazaar, issued stern warnings to encroachers, and gave instructions to rectify the city's sanitation system.

During the inspection, CMO Virendra Chakravarty proceeded directly to Sadar Bazaar. Upon observing encroachments extending from shops onto the road, he expressed his displeasure. He ordered the removal of commercial goods placed on the road in front of Baba Pansari's shop in Sadar Bazaar and issued a strict warning to the shopkeeper for the future.

The CMO made it clear that if shop goods are found outside the designated limit, i.e., beyond the shutter, again, the material will be confiscated without any prior notice, and penal action will also be ensured as per regulations.

Strict Directives on Sanitation

CMO Virendra Chakravarty also issued clear instructions to the municipal supervisors and sanitation workers regarding the sanitation system. He stated that sweeping and garbage collection in the city's main markets and major routes is mandatory by morning.

Citing the Collector's explicit instructions, he reiterated that making the city clean and orderly is the administration's top priority and that any laxity in this task will not be tolerated at any level.

News of the officer's sudden arrival in the market and his direct warning to encroachers caused a stir among shopkeepers in Sadar Bazaar and surrounding areas. The municipal administration has appealed to all traders not to place their shop goods on the drains or roads.

The administration believes that the removal of encroachments will alleviate the traffic problems faced by the general public and improve the city's management. This surprise inspection is part of the efforts to beautify the city of Bhind and ensure smooth traffic flow.
