'Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan' Event Held in Bhind

The Bhind branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organized a 'Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan' (Teacher Worship, Student Felicitation) program at Redrose International School. The event saw participation from over 600 students, aiming to instill values and emphasize the importance of discipline in their lives.

Chief Guest Highlights Need for Values and Discipline

The program was graced by Shivpratap Singh Rajawat, Station House Officer of Dehat Police Station, as the chief guest, with Jaiprakash Sharma, the branch president, presiding over the event. In his address, Chief Guest Shivpratap Singh Rajawat noted a perceived decline in values among children today, commending Bharat Vikas Parishad's initiative.

Discipline guides students on the right path, not only leading to success but also helping them become ideal citizens. If students practice discipline from childhood, their values strengthen, making them superior human beings throughout life.

Rajawat emphasized the significance of discipline in a student's life, stating it leads them on the correct path and aids in achieving success and becoming ideal citizens. He stressed that early adoption of discipline solidifies values, contributing to a person's lifelong development into a distinguished individual. He also advocated for the inclusion of moral education in schools, as value-based education propels students to greater heights.

Furthermore, Rajawat advised students on safeguarding themselves against cybercrimes facilitated by mobile phones and abstaining from various forms of substance abuse.

Bharat Vikas Parishad: Its Introduction and Objectives

Presiding over the event, Jaiprakash Sharma introduced Bharat Vikas Parishad as a social organization dedicated to building a healthy, capable, and value-oriented India. He elaborated on the council's extensive reach, noting its division into 80 provinces and 10 regions, with approximately 1600 active branches nationwide.

Sharma detailed the council's five core principles: Contact, Cooperation, Values, Service, and Dedication. He also familiarized attendees with the organization's vision, its activities, and the specific objectives of programs like 'Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan'.

Guidance on the Importance of Teachers and Health

Dr. D.K. Sharma elucidated the role of gurus in the Indian Sanatan tradition, referencing a famous couplet by Kabir Das: 'Guru Govind Dono Khade, Kake Lagu Pay. Balihaari Guru Aapki, Govind Diyo Milay.' (Both Guru and Govind stand, whom should I bow to first? I sacrifice myself to my Guru, who united me with Govind.). He also provided students with crucial health-related information.

Kamlesh Senthiya, a special guest, updated the audience on the current activities of Bharat Vikas Parishad, while program coordinator Ganesh Bhardwaj shared his thoughts on the specific goals of the 'Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan' program. Madhukanta guided the children through an inspiring song.

Pledge for Good Conduct and Respect, Honoring Students and Teachers

The program was compered by branch secretary Rajmani Sharma, and Principal Jyoti Soni delivered the vote of thanks to all the guests. During the event, all attendees took a collective pledge for good conduct and respect towards teachers, as part of the 'Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan' initiative.

The school administration honored 30 students for their outstanding achievements with certificates and medals presented by the guests. Additionally, 35 teachers were recognized for their contributions to the field of education. All attending guests were also presented with mementos.
