National Unity Day Observed with Reverence in Bareilly

The Reserve Police Line in Bareilly vibrantly celebrated National Unity Day on October 31, 2026, commemorating the 151st birth anniversary of the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event was conducted with immense devotion and enthusiasm.

Under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya, police officers and personnel paid floral tributes to a portrait of Sardar Patel, offering heartfelt homage. During the ceremony, SSP Anurag Arya administered the National Unity Day pledge to the assembled officers, staff, and constables.

All present collectively vowed to make every possible effort to uphold the nation's unity, integrity, and security, pledging to remain perpetually prepared in service of national interests. This observance served not only as a tribute to Sardar Patel but also underscored the Indian Police's unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country's unity and sovereignty.

In his address, SSP Anurag Arya highlighted Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's unparalleled contribution to unifying the nation. He emphasized that the integrated India of today would not have been possible without Patel's relentless efforts.

Patel's firm resolve and foresight played a pivotal role in the accession of princely states to the Indian Union, thereby ensuring the country's geographical and political integrity. He further stated that drawing inspiration from Patel's ideals, every officer of the Uttar Pradesh Police is diligently performing their duties with utmost sincerity to maintain the nation's security and integrity.
