Security Preparations Underway for Juloos-e-Gausia in Bareilly

The police and administration in Bareilly have accelerated their preparations to ensure the peaceful and well-organized execution of the upcoming Juloos-e-Gausia. A significant meeting was held on Friday at the Thana Baradari premises where police officials engaged in in-depth discussions regarding security arrangements with the procession organizers and representatives of various Anjumans (religious groups).

This meeting was convened with the objective of ensuring the safety of the large crowds expected to participate in the upcoming religious event, given its sensitive nature. The meeting was conducted in the presence of Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Pareek and Additional Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shivam, following directives from the Senior Superintendent of Police.

Strict Adherence to Rules Mandated

During the meeting, officials thoroughly briefed the organizers on the orders issued by the government. Clear instructions were given that the procession must be conducted strictly within the pre-defined route and a specific time frame. No leniency will be tolerated in this regard. The police administration expects full cooperation from the organizers in maintaining law and order, which is crucial for the success of any large public event.

Commitment to Orderly Conduct

The organizers present at the meeting reiterated their commitment to adhering to the administration's directives. They have appealed to the office bearers of the concerned Anjumans that the use of DJ (Disc Jockey) will be completely prohibited during the procession. This decision has been made to ensure a more orderly and peaceful event, as the use of DJs raises concerns about noise pollution and disruption.

All parties emphasized mutual coordination to ensure the success of the event and prevent any untoward incidents. The police administration clarified that strict legal action will be taken against any individual or group violating security standards and prescribed rules, with any negligence being taken very seriously.

Appeal for Peaceful Environment

Officials appealed to all participants to faithfully follow the given instructions to maintain a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere in the city. The administration will maintain a close watch on the entire process, and any disorder will not be tolerated. It was also ensured during the meeting that the organizers will remain in constant contact with the local police and will immediately share any problems or information.

Plans for deploying additional police force and increasing patrolling have also been made to ensure robust security arrangements.
