Balrampur Municipality: Building, Property Tax, and Water Tax Information Now Available on E-Portal

Digital Services Expanded by Balrampur Municipality

Balrampur Municipality has taken a significant step towards providing digital amenities to its residents. Comprehensive details of all buildings within the municipal area, along with information regarding property tax and water tax, will now be available online via the e-Nagar Seva Portal. This initiative will eliminate the need for building owners to make unnecessary visits to the office, allowing them to view their property's complete ledger from home.

Convenience for Citizens

During a 'Janta Darshan' (public interaction session) on Sunday, Municipal President Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh 'Dheeru' stated that this system has been implemented with the convenience of citizens in mind. The work was completed under the leadership of Executive Officer Lalchand Maurya. Through this portal, not only property details but also complete information on property tax and water tax can be accessed.

Future Enhancements and Current Status

The municipality plans to introduce tax payment facilities through this portal in the future, thereby promoting digital payments. According to the municipal administration, records for most buildings have been uploaded to the portal. However, mobile numbers for many building owners have not yet been registered.

Call for Mobile Number Registration

The municipality urges all respected building owners to visit the office in person and contact Revenue Inspector Rajesh Patel to register their mobile numbers. Once registered, building owners will regularly receive important information such as property tax, water tax, outstanding dues, payment deadlines, and other updates from the department via phone calls or SMS. This move will ensure swift exchange of information and assist citizens in making timely decisions.

Appeal for Transparency and Engagement

The Balrampur Municipal Council appeals to all building owners to update their mobile numbers at the office promptly. By doing so, they can fully benefit from all the digital services offered by the e-Nagar Seva Portal. This initiative aims to make municipal services more transparent, accessible, and citizen-centric. This digital transformation will also help the local administration connect more effectively with its citizens.
