Preparations Underway for Ganesh Mahotsav

A crucial meeting was held at the Balrampur Nagar Palika Parishad premises to ensure the upcoming Shri Ganesh Mahotsav is conducted smoothly and peacefully. The meeting was presided over by the President of the Ideal Nagar Palika Parishad, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’, and attended by officials from various Ganesh Puja committees.

Discussions focused on arrangements during the festival, with authorities receiving essential instructions. The Municipal President emphasized the need for regular sanitation near all puja pandals within the town. The mandatory use of lime and water spraying will be implemented to prevent the spread of infections.

Sanitation and Road Repair Measures

The Municipality will launch a special cleanliness drive to prevent any inconvenience to devotees. A decision was also made to immediately repair roads damaged due to ongoing sewer and water corporation works, ensuring smooth transportation for attendees.

Immersion Day Arrangements

Regarding the festival's conclusion, Avinash Mishra, President of the Ganpati Puja Samanvay Samiti, stated that Ganesh idols will be installed on September 14 in the town area. The immersion of idols will take place on September 21 at the Rapti Ghat.

The Municipal President ordered comprehensive sanitation, adequate lighting, and the provision of crane facilities at the Rapti Ghat on the day of immersion. This is to ensure the immersion process is carried out without any issues.

Support and Appeals for Peace

During the event, the Municipal President presented puja thalis and angavastras to committee officials. Each committee received a financial contribution of ₹2,500.

Dr. Tulsish Dubey appealed to the organizers to maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the festival.

Furthermore, organizers were instructed to control the volume of DJs to avoid disturbing the general public. Key attendees included President's representative DP Singh, Kamlesh Tripathi, councilor Sanjay Mishra, Anand Gupta Chintu, and other dignitaries and committee officials. The administration seeks everyone's cooperation for the successful completion of the Ganesh Mahotsav.
