Balrampur Health Melas Provide Healthcare to 1875 Patients

On Sunday, Balrampur district witnessed a significant turnout at the Chief Minister Health Melas organized across all 35 primary health centers. A total of 1875 patients were registered and received necessary medical treatment during these events.

According to information received from the Health Department, the treated patients comprised 831 men, 774 women, and 270 children. The melas offered general health check-ups along with specialized screenings for conditions such as blood pressure, diabetes, TB, leprosy, eye, and dental ailments.

Comprehensive Health Services Offered

In addition to general and specific health checks, the melas provided Antenatal Care (ANC) checks for pregnant women, vaccinations for children, and counseling on family planning. These services aimed to ensure widespread access to essential healthcare for all demographics.

Awareness and Free Medications

A key objective of the Chief Minister Health Melas was to raise public awareness about various health and public welfare schemes. Information was disseminated regarding prominent programs like the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program, and the Communicable Disease Control Campaign.

Furthermore, free medicines were distributed to needy patients through dedicated counters, providing them with immediate relief. This initiative underscored the commitment to accessible healthcare for all residents.

Special Health Camp at Police Lines

In a related development, a special health camp was organized at the Police Lines Balrampur. The camp was inspected by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rastogi. Officials and employees from both the Health Department and the Police Department were present.
