Coordination Meeting for 'Swachhta Hi Seva-2026' Held in Balrampur

Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh – A crucial coordination meeting was organized in Balrampur on September 16, 2026, to ensure the success of the 'Swachhta Hi Seva-2026' program. The meeting, held at the Adarsh Nagar Palika Parishad Balrampur, was presided over by DP Singh Bais, Chairman's Representative, under the guidance of Municipal Chairperson Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’.

Councilors, sanitation workers, and municipal employees participated in the assembly. The primary agenda was the effective implementation of the 'Swachhta Hi Seva-2026' campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). A detailed action plan was discussed to make the 'Participation in Cleanliness, Developed India in Clean India' initiative a success.

The campaign's core components, including the transformation of sanitation goal units, sanitation worker safety and honor camps, organization of sanitation schools, and enhancing public participation, were given special attention. Speakers stressed that achieving a clean, beautiful, and healthy city is not solely dependent on administrative efforts.

They highlighted that the cooperation and active involvement of every citizen are essential for success. The importance of making cleanliness a part of individual and collective behavior was underscored, with the clear message that this campaign must evolve into a public movement, not just a government initiative.

Discussions also covered the safety and honor of sanitation workers during the meeting. All elected representatives and employees present took a pledge for cleanliness. They resolved not to litter in public places, to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings, to raise awareness about sanitation in the community, and to actively participate in the 'Swachhta Hi Seva-2026' campaign.

Key attendees included Sanitation Inspector Diwakar Pandey, Sanitation Clerk Arvind Singh, along with prominent representatives and employees such as Nandlal Tiwari, Sandeep Mishra, Anand Kishore Gupta, Mo.
